A whole afternoon of fun pollinator activities is planned and you can attend
one part or enjoy them all! There is something for everyone!
Drop in at booths to make hummingbird feeders, pollinator seed
paper or bee waterers—while supplies last. Crafts for children are free, adult crafts have a small Cash-only fee.
Drop in at the Busy Bees kids table for games, a snack craft to learn about bees.
Bob Kugach, master gardener, presents: Native plants for pollinators.
Scott Kosteretz from Honey Bee Artisans presents: Beekeeping basics.
Judy Cardin, citizen scientist with Wisconsin Bumble Bee Brigade and endangered Rusty Patch Bumble Bee expert will be available to answer questions and share her knowledge and resources about bumblebee biology, identification and the flowers that work best for them.
Tim Fulton presents: Native Bees—a close-up look: identification, importance and how to help them.
